Yes We Cain

Being confident that Herman Cain will defeat Barack Obama and become the next President of the United States is definitely a positive feeling I have.  Now, after tonight do I feel the same way…as confident?  Absolutely.

Other like minded Republicans believe that Rick Santorum will be the next president, our beloved Sarah Palin may run?, however I believe “May the last man standing be the best man”.

Lest we forget D-Day 15 June 1944

I cannot say that I never learned about this D-Day in school since I was never studious and although I may have been taught this in school I had no recollection.  However, today I had the privilege of learning about this D-Day first hand from a Marine that was there.

At the importance of anonymity I will not share this World War II Soldiers’ name but I will share some details about my observance of him and his personality that were and are especially sweet.  Today this retired WWII Marine started a friendly conversation with me as we both left the commissary.  Previously we had met and made small talk at the gym.

We talked about the weather among other things and he said, “I’m a WWII Veteran”.  I said, “Wow, how nice to meet you and thank you so much for your service”.  I then said, “D-Day was just two days ago, what a historic moment in history that you were part of”.  The Marine raised his hand and I clasped it as he said, “My D-Day was 15 June 1944 at the Battle of Saipan in the Mariana Islands.  I felt my heart skip a beat as I realized this was a fact of history I never knew.  Wishing I had some memory so that I could feel his pain but I did not, I smiled and  listened.  Today was ever so humbling.

The Marine also shared with me that he was a part of the 2nd Marine Division in the Pacific campaign of WWII.

Speaking with this Marine I was reminded of the cost of Freedom of which this man had fought for.  Freedom for me; a girl whom he would not meet until nearly 67 years later.  The Marine was such a gentleman and so kind.  He made my heart feel light and happy to have been privileged  to shake his hand and tell him Thank you for his service.  He also promised to not beat me too badly at a future game of raquetball!

Thank you to the kind, strong, fearless, Marine who braved the poor battle conditions and all that surrounds war.  Thank you for offering your life for American freedom.

Only two people have offered to give their life for ours, “Jesus Christ” and “The Veteran”.

World powers hold talks on Iran’s nuclear program

Only days after Iran was accused of secretly building a second uranium plant, world leaders sat at the table with representatives of the Iranian government to discuss their controversial nuclear program even as Germany said that Iran was failing to cooperate in the talks. As 5 members of the United Nations Security Council; Britain, China, France, Russia, and the United States plus Germany met with the Iranians, the head of the United Nations nuclear watchdog agency reported that Iran has been on the wrong side of the law in hiding the uranium plant, breaking a requirement of all members of the United Nations.

As these meetings are going on in Geneva, Switzerland the world is watching – especially the nation of Israel as they sit under a threat from Iran who said that Israel must be wiped off the Earth and they then test fired missiles that they say can reach any target in Israel.

As world leaders meet with Iran to discuss the threat of their nuclear program, a student of Bible prophecy realizes that this scenario can be found in the prophetic passages of God’s word.

The game plan for the leaders of Iran over the years related to their nuclear program and the development of a weapon of mass destruction has been to talk until the talks fall apart, wait for some time, and then start new talks. This procedure has been repeated over and over and now a group of 6 major world powers have fallen into the trap and are now talking with the Iranians. This delaying action by Iran has only allowed this rogue nation to move closer to a nuclear weapon of mass destruction as they continue to enrich weapons grade uranium.

This scenario has set the stage for the prophetic scenario for the last days that can be found in Bible prophecy. Iran, referred to in Ezekiel 38: 5 as Persia, has given evidence that they want to have Israel removed from the Middle East, in fact, the entire world. Iran’s president, Ahmadinejad, seemed to quote Psalm 83:4 when he called for Israel to be destroyed and her name be forgotten forever. Though Israel is preparing to defend itself from an Iranian nuclear attack, the Bible says that the Lord will intercede to protect the Jewish nation from Iran (Ezekiel 38:18 – 39:6).

Talks or no talks in Geneva – Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Israeli PM tells European leaders that Jews have been building in Jerusalem for three thousand years

You know, I admit that I’ve been on the ignorant side of the state of affairs for God’s chosen people, The Jews.  Even more so, it is being revealed just how evil the world is and especially the administration of the President of The United States.

As the Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu met with the British PM Gordon Brown, the British leader urged Netanyahu to halt settlement construction in Judea and Samaria and Jerusalem, to which the Israeli PM said that Jerusalem is not a settlement, it is the capital of the sovereign state of Israel.

Brown said the UK was and is a loyal friend to Israel, but that the settlements, including the old city of Jerusalem, are what impedes the two-state solution to which Netanyahu reminded PM Brown that Jews have been building and living in Jerusalem for three thousand years.

In the days before the Messiah, Jesus Christ, returns to the earth, the European leaders will push the Jews on the control of Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria, according to Bible prophecy.

Israeli PM Netanyahu’s visit to Europe to meet with European leaders was designed to have the Israeli leader give the reasons for a Jewish presence and in fact, an expanding presence in the old city of Jerusalem and the territories of Judea and Samaria. Netanyahu has been informing European leaders that the Jewish state has sovereignty over its capital city of Jerusalem and will make no concessions on where Jews can build or buy in Jerusalem. Netanyahu also said that Jews will continue to have a normal life in the disputed areas of Judea and Samaria.

The ancient Jewish prophets wrote of a scenario that we can see being played out right now between Europe and Israel. Daniel revealed that the Old Roman Empire would be revived in the last days and become a major political power in the world with a focus on the Middle East and especially Israel and Jerusalem, Daniel 7:7-24. Zechariah said Jerusalem would be the focus of controversy, Zechariah 12:2 and Daniel wrote that a European leader, the Antichrist, would bring about a short-lived peace to the conflict, Daniel 9:27.

As the European leaders continue to apply pressure on Israel over Jerusalem and the settlements, Bible prophecy moves very close to fulfillment.

Biblical Prophecy In Light of Current Events

Independence Day celebrations mark the birth of the United States of America, an experiment that has been very successful in many different ways. Many Christians say that the reason for America’s prosperity is due to their support for world evangelism. The United States has been the launch pad for worldwide missions, spreading the gospel to a needy world.
The other reason given for America’s success is that we have protected the Jewish state of Israel for the many years of its existence, keeping the Jewish people from total elimination by its enemies. These two reasons, at the least, have played a role in bringing the United States to where it is today; but where is the United States in Bible prophecy?

The question of America’s place in Bible prophecy does have an answer.

“Where is America in Bible prophecy?” That is the most asked question in any “Prophecy Question and Answer” time. I am always asked this question when I open up to inquiring people.

Once in a “Prophecy Question and Answer” time someone told me that they knew, so I asked “Where?”

They said, “Jerusalem.”

I asked them to explain, and they spelled out the word Jerusalem.

“J – e – r – U – S – A – l – e – m”, to which everybody laughed.

As I thought about the answer though, I believe that it is correct, the only place in Bible prophecy that I see the possibility of the mention of the United States or an illusion to the United States is in Zechariah 14:2.

Zechariah revealed that at the time of the end all of the armies of the world would gather at Jerusalem, under the leadership of Satan, Anti-Christ, and the False Prophet – there to confront Jesus Christ on His return to the Mount of Olives from where He departed some 2,000 years ago. If America survives the 7 year Tribulation Period, their army would join the other armies of the world at Jerusalem.

America today is great because the backbone of this nation is made up of true, Bible believing, born-again Christians. When the Christians leave this world at the Rapture of the Church, which could happen at any moment, the most powerful nation in the world will most likely fall from it’s power base.

America’s spiritual decline, in the present, will result in a power decline in the future. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Ok, for the Sarah Palin lovers I’m sure you feel as I do;  that she will be like a Phoenix; rising up more beautiful and wonderful than ever.  Not only due to her clear, true, beauty, but her inner beauty that radiates to the outward self.  This inner beauty can only be found and is only visible when someone “walks the walk”.  In other words, Sarah Palin loves the Lord her maker, creator, and that way of life is evident in all she says and does; politically and personally.

Now, the reason the Left is so stinking scared of her?  That’s right; the Left is scared of Sarah Palin.  Why? Many reasons; Sarah was not born with the ethereal “silver spoon” as most in her arena.  Sarah did not attend ANY Ivy League Schools as most in her arena have.  Sarah has worked hard her entire life (not sitting around eating tea and crumpets or community organizing or at the Country Club) as some have claimed they worked so hard at.  Plain and simple, Sarah Palin is a threat to the Left Wing Liberals of our time and their crummy Anti-American thinking and ways of life.

Yes, yes, yes!  The Left Wing Liberal Whack Jobs as well as the untiring Left Wing Liberal Whack Job Media just Cannot get enough of our beloved Sarah.  I think it is so Funny!  The Left Wing Liberal Media is coveting Sarah Palin! ROFL.

She can make money to pay the bills. She can pick her battles without being hemmed in by the state legislature and bureaucracy.

Palin is impulsive. Her charisma is such that she does not need to hold an office to command attention or wield influence.
